******* 1.0 Introduction ********

This is the latest Windows 95 driver update for the Screamin'3D by Sierra.

All necessary files are included with this update in order to complete
the installation. For any problems or questions please refer to section
4.0, Reporting Problems.

******* 2.0 Installation Instructions *******

To install this driver update, run the self-extracting EXE program and
follow its directions. The Setup program will overwrite your existing
Screamin'3D drivers.

******* 3.0 What's New *******

This new driver release includes support for MIP Mapping and new TVout features
when a Canopus Pure3D is detected in the system. These new features will only be
available if the Pure3D driver version is 1.10.08 or greater.

See the below information for the enhancements and fixes made since the 2.10 driver
release. If you have a bug to report and it is not reported as fixed or known in
this document then refer to section 4.0 for Reporting Problems.

******* 3.1 Enhancements *******

1. Added MipMapping support into the Direct3D drivers.

2. Screamin'3D Control now changes color depths on the fly.

3. Testing the refresh rate is no longer required from the Cursor/Monitor tab.

4. Added TVout tab support when a Canopus Pure3D card is detected. If you have
a Pure3D with driver version 1.10.08 you will be able to display the desktop
on your TV as high as 960x620.

5. Added a Refresh Rate utility allowing you control refresh rates of all desktop
and DirectDraw video modes on the fly.

******* 3.2 Fixes *******

1. Fixed the delay in shutting down Windows 95 with the 2.10 drivers.

2. Fixed a problem when MDK displayed white textures if Shiny error correction
   was on.

3. Fixed a problem when moving the monitor position to the extreme left or up.
This would cause the refresh rate to change.

4. Fixed the corruption cause in Microsoft Flight Simulator 98.

******* 3.3 Known Problems *******

1. Hexen 2 will not run above 320x240. This is a problem with the BIOS.

2. When adjusting the brightness in MDKD3D it turns things blue. This is
a problem with MDK and 565 color formats.

3. Sometimes text in MS Word gets duplicated above or below the actual word.
