What the patch fixes:

This patch disk will allow Hoyle Solitaire to be played on systems 
without a sound card. 

* The patch files must be installed to the same directory as Hoyle 
Solitaire. Copy all of the files to your Hoyle Solitaire game 
directory.  For example, if you installed the game into your C: drive 
in a directory called C:\SIERRA\HOYLESOL and the patch files are 
on a disk in your A: drive, at the dos prompt you would type the 
following:
 
C: [ENTER]
CD\SIERRA\HOYLESOL [ENTER]
COPY A:*.* [ENTER]

When asked to overwrite <Yes,No,All> enter Y for Yes.

* You can now return to Windows and click on the Hoyle Solitaire icon 
in the Sierra group and enjoy playing the game.
