This Version 1.0.0.2 patch is for both Win 3.1 and Win95 versions of Trophy Rivers, and provides the following updates:

A. Provides support for the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro joystick driver (Win95 only). 
B. Fixes a bug where players without web browsers or valid URL associations would click on the Main Menu "Homepage" button and see an obsolete dialog box. (Win95 and Win 3.1)
C. Updates the sierra.inf file for smoother WON.NET software downloads, as they become available. (WON.NET is replacing SIGS as the Trophy Rivers Internet game server software.) (Win95 only)

[2] HOW TO INSTALL THE PATCH
====================================
A) The patch consists of a compressed file called triver12.exe. Download or copy triver12.exe into a temporary folder or directory.
B) Run the patch by double-clicking on triver12.exe, OR typing <path>triver12.exe from the Start menu or File Manager's RUN command line. The patch will be extracted to the default directory C:\sierra\trivers. If you installed Trophy Rivers to a different drive or directory, enter that directory name instead.
C) To confirm the patch installed correctly, start Trophy Rivers, go to the Help Menu: About option, and check for version number 1.0.0.2. You can then delete the patch file in the temp directory. 

[3] ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

After Trophy Rivers shipped, the Sierra Internet Gaming System was converted to WON.NET. This provides some cool new features, and is still provided at no charge. Enjoy!
