I] WHAT THE PATCH FIXES
=======================================================================
Following are the items fixed in version 1.1:

1.  The end of game crash caused by visiting the mound more than once has been
    fixed.


2.  The difficulty and sound game options are now saved to BBPRO.INI.

3.  Hitting F9 in the Front Office (for time) no longer produces a GPF.

4.  Players no longer lose 3 years of age when dumped into an initial draft.

5.  Putting a player on the DL no longer deletes another player already on the
    DL.

6.  Players on the DL are no longer deleted at the end of Spring Training.

7.  The computer no longer releases "good" players, when signing a free agent.

8.  The computer will now use it's 5th starter.

9.  The computer will no longer attempt to rest players on teams under the
complete control of a human player (reassign players is off).  They will use
the specified lineups regardless of any ratings reduction due to player
fatigue level or non-debilitating injuries.

10.  Remote manager will now print team schedules.

11.  Pitchers are now properly sorted in the Team Stats HTML report.

12.  The Free Agent pool HTML printout now contains the correct header.

13.  The breakdown of pitchers in the Free Agent Pool HTML printout now
properly splits starters and relievers.

14.  The Association Schedule HTML printout no longer shows the career stats
of home pitchers.  It now properly shows their season-to-date stats.

15.  All-Teams reports now include the last team in the league (Toronto).

16.  The latest PB.INI, LOGIC.DAT, INJURY.DAT, PGEND.DAT,  SPRPLYR.DAT, and AGPLYR.DAT
values have been made the game defaults, obviating the need for the separate
files.

17.  New entries have been added to the PB.INI file, including some additional
bunting parameters and injury frequency paramaeters.  The new entries are:

     timingBuntCount=1
     timingBuntFaces=30
     timingBuntBase=-15

        (Bunting now has it's own timing, independant of pitch
        identification.)

     swingAngleTenthDegreesNormalAdjust=0
     swingAngleTenthDegreesBuntAdjust=0

        (The swing angle can be adjusted for bunts and normal swings now, in
        addition to the power and contact entries in version 1.0.)

     adjustUnitsBuntPct=500
     adjustUnitsPowerAdjust=0
     adjustUnitsNormalAdjust=0
     adjustUnitsContactAdjust=0
     adjustUnitsBuntAdjust=999

        (An adjustment units percentage multiplier for bunts is now included
        to complement the existing entries for contact, normal, and power
        swings.  Additionally, a fixed value can be added to the adjustment
        units through the use of the new "Adjust" entries.)

        action takes place, where XXXX is the value used.)

II] HOW TO INSTALL THE PATCH
=======================================================================
Click on the bb9811pt.exe and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE!! 
If you have installed the minimum installation (no options selected in the install screen)of Baseball 98, then you will recieve an error when the patch executes.  Before applying the patch, copy the sim.dat file from the CD.  It is located in the D:\Baseball directory (where D is you CD-ROM drive letter) on the Baseball 98 CD. 

You will then have to change the read only attribute of the file.  To do this: click on Windows Explorer.  Locate the BBPRO_98 directory(Default is C:\Sierra\BBPRO_98), right click on the sim.dat file. 
Click on Properties.  
Locate the Attributes section.  
There should be a check in the read-only box.  
Click on this box until the check is removed. 
You can then execute the patch and proceed as normal.
