			
			Conquest of the Longbow
			      (Robin Hood)
			    Version 1.0 only


This patch disk will resolve the following issues that you may 
encounter while playing Longbow:

1) Fixes the "1535.TEX not found" error message that occurs if 
Robin orders a drink in the pub.

2) Corrects a looping problem that will sometimes occur when Robin
talks to the Green Man.  

3) Some game players will not be given time to hide from the 
Sheriff's men in the forest the second time.  
  

To install this patch, just copy the patch files (*.TXT and *.SCR)
into the directory where Longbow has been installed and then run the 
game as before.
		      
		      

		       PROCEDURE TO COPY THIS PATCH
1. Insert the disk that contains the patch files into drive A: or B:.
   For this example, we will use drive A:.

2. Go into the directory on your hard drive where you have installed
   Longbow and enter the following commands:
   COPY A:\*.TEX <ENTER>
   COPY A:\*.SCR <ENTER>

You are now ready to run the game.  Just type ROBIN <ENTER> and you are on
your way.

begin playing the game from the beginning.  We apologize that you 
will not be able to use your previously saved games.
